Volunteering

Becoming a volunteer for DXTL

  1. You must have a valid CRB check and child protection certificate; a first aid certificate is not essential but will be of use.
  2. You must never get involved in confrontations and be prepared to walk away from trouble if it comes your way.
  3. Be responsible and monitor the match. Remember to fill in a monitoring form, recording any incidents that take place at junior football games throughout the week at a league near you.
  4. Have a friendly and outgoing personality at all times and be able to work with others as a team member.
  5. To be able to follow instructions easily with a pleasant manner.
  6. To be able to have an understanding of and the ability to work with children.
  7. To work closely with league committees, authorities and referees.
  8. To abide by the rules & codes of conduct set out by DXTL.
  9. To have and understanding of the game and rules.
  10. Always make your presence known to a league official or member.

As a volunteer you get:
